BIOGRAPHY PHENO B- THE TAXIMAN RAPPER In 1999 Pheno created the group Kaidan Gaskia. Kaidan Gaskia means to act honestly; to respect the truth. Between 2001 and 2005 four opuses came out of Niger, notably thanks to the support of Didier Awadi, the pillar of African rap. In the face of the apparent lack of concern those in power had for Niger's youth, the group decided to emigrate to the United States; however Pheno stayed in Niger, believing that all the problems could be overcome given the right means and support. Thanks to his production studio, KOUNCHTE Productions, Pheno continued to work as a producer until he met Safia. Following that fateful meeting he decided to take the risk and relaunched Kaidan Gaskia.
